For centuries it has been used to celebrate marriage and death in the Mediterranean. The robust and intense flavor of our wild Greek Mountain Oregano provides a superb complement to Greek, Italian, and Mexican cuisine. It is also the perfect seasoning for sauces and marinades as well as tomato, lamb, fish, and egg dishes. As an easy alternative, simply add it to some of our Private Reserve or Early Harvest Organic extra virgin olive oil for dipping, or sprinkle it on toasted slices of fresh crusty bread drizzled with olive oil. Just the aroma of this oregano tells you it’s something special!
